Major Milestone!

Okay, so I hit 175.2 pounds this morning, so technically I’m .2 pounds away from my first milestone goal, but I’m still going to celebrate this.

Back in 2015, I signed up for an account with MyFitnessPal and used it for a little while. Three weeks ago I logged back in and I’ve started using it along with my other fitness apps. Back in 2015 when I set up the account, I said that I weighed 176.0. So, for the first time this morning, the app is showing a loss since it’s using that old number.

This hasn’t always been easy, and my biggest problem is still portion control. It’s really a balancing act. If I make just enough for the two of us so that there are no leftovers, obviously I have to cook more often. But if I make enough for leftovers, I tend to eat more of it. I’ve gotten pretty lax about actually weighing food, and I’m sure I need to get back into doing that, or just really try to be more aware of how much I’m eating. My blood sugars are still doing well, so that’s good.

We haven’t been able to talk with Lisa in a couple of months. Many of the staff members have been redeployed to other places around the city at the moment, and apparently Lisa is one of those people. Hopefully she’ll be back soon.

Other than that, there’s really not a lot to report. I could probably go down another pant size at this point, but I’m going to stick with what I’ve got for now, although I really would love to try something on in a size 14 just to see if it would fit me.
